Hello! I’m Liam McCallion, a communications major at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minor in business. I’m passionate about how people connect, communicate, and collaborate, which has led me to explore many exciting avenues in my academic and professional journey. As I work towards becoming a skilled real estate agent, I’m constantly learning and adapting in an ever-changing industry. Background

I was born and raised in Brentwood, California, before moving to Reno to attend the University of Nevada, Reno, where I’m pursuing my degree. From a young age, I’ve always been intrigued by how people interact and convey their ideas—whether it’s in everyday conversations or through the power of digital media. This curiosity inspired my decision to major in Communications, and I am excited to continue applying this knowledge in both my personal and professional life.

Throughout my time at the university, I’ve been involved in a variety of extracurricular activities that have further shaped my communication skills and leadership abilities. I’ve had the chance to participate in group projects, sports teams, and volunteer work, all of which have helped me develop a well-rounded skill set for collaborating and solving problems within teams. My academic journey has been enriched by the opportunity to engage in deep discussions about the impact of communication in different contexts—from digital media trends to nonprofit leadership—and it’s something I’m eager to apply in my future career.

• Real Estate Knowledge: I’m currently learning about the real estate industry and working toward gaining experience to become a licensed real estate agent. I’m passionate about helping people find their dream homes and making the process as smooth as possible.
• Teamwork & Leadership: Whether it’s on a sports team or in the classroom, I thrive in collaborative environments and love motivating others to achieve their goals.
• Digital Media & Marketing: I’m fascinated by the intersection of communication and technology, especially in the realm of social media marketing and personal branding.
• Creative Problem-Solving: I enjoy finding innovative solutions to challenges and applying creative strategies to improve processes, whether in academic work, personal projects, or in a professional setting.

In my free time, I’m an avid fan of anime (especially One Piece!) and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and camping. I find that time spent in nature helps me recharge and stay motivated. I also enjoy photography, which allows me to capture the beauty of the world around me and share it with others.

Career Goals

My ultimate goal is to become a successful real estate agent, guiding clients through the process of buying and selling homes while helping them make informed decisions. As I continue to build my expertise in this field, I aim to specialize in working with first-time homebuyers, using my communication skills to provide clear, empathetic support throughout the entire process.

In addition to my real estate aspirations, I’m also passionate about personal branding and marketing. I want to combine my knowledge of communication with my growing interest in digital media to build a personal brand that resonates with people and creates meaningful connections. I’m excited about leveraging new technologies, such as AI and social media, to bring value to my career and expand my professional network.
